The Challenge
Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa offers personalized massages, facials, and skincare treatments designed to make professional self-care more accessible. To support local growth, the brand needed more than additional inquiries. It needed qualified prospects who lived close enough to visit, matched the ideal customer profile, and were more likely to become booked appointments and recurring clients.
Solved Puzzle developed a focused 90-day Meta Ads strategy built around geographic precision, audience quality, compelling spa creative, and end-to-end conversion tracking.
The spa and wellness market is highly competitive, and generating inexpensive form submissions does not necessarily translate into profitable appointments. Hand & Stone Spa needed to expand its lead pipeline without filling the booking team’s workflow with low-intent prospects or inquiries from people outside realistic visiting distance.
The challenge was to increase lead volume while simultaneously improving quality. That required a campaign structure capable of reaching the right local audiences, communicating the value of recurring self-care, and learning from the appointments and completed services that mattered most to the business.

The Strategy
We created a 90-day Facebook and Instagram advertising program centered on four connected priorities.
Precise Geographic and Audience Targeting
First, we built precise geographic targeting around the spa’s service areas so the campaign reached prospects within a practical visiting radius. Demographic and behavioral signals were layered onto that foundation to focus delivery on wellness-oriented consumers whose interests and lifestyle aligned with massage, facial, and membership services. Lookalike audiences based on stronger existing customers helped expand reach without sacrificing relevance.
Creative Testing
Second, we developed and tested creative concepts around the motivations that bring people to a spa: stress relief, skincare goals, consistent self-care, and gift-giving. Messaging highlighted introductory opportunities and membership value to support both first-time appointments and longer-term relationships.
Lead Qualification
Third, Meta lead-generation campaigns incorporated qualifying questions before prospects entered the booking pipeline. Audiences and exclusions were continuously refined using feedback from the spa team, helping the platform learn from lead quality rather than form volume alone.
Conversion Tracking and Weekly Optimization
Finally, we implemented tracking from the advertising interaction through the booked appointment. Weekly optimization cycles were used to evaluate audiences, creative formats, messages, and budget allocation across single-image, carousel, and video variations.
Our Results
Within 90 days, the campaign increased lead volume by 23% while also improving the quality of incoming inquiries. A greater share of prospects progressed into booked appointments and recurring-client relationships, giving the spa a stronger local pipeline rather than simply a larger list of names. Geographic targeting and audience exclusions reduced wasted delivery to out-of-area and low-intent users. The campaign also strengthened Hand & Stone Spa’s local positioning by consistently connecting its massage, facial, and self-care offers with consumers most likely to visit. The program demonstrated that lead growth and lead quality can improve together when paid media is optimized around geographic relevance, customer value, and meaningful conversion events.
